DJOU ATTENDS KBA CANDIDATE FORUM: Team Djou is Ready on Day One

Former Congressman Charles K. Djou attended a luncheon candidate forum hosted by the Kahala Business Association today.

"Hawaii needs a representative who can hit the ground running and is ready to fight for Hawaii on day one," stated Djou at the forum.

"My team and I are excited by the recent media poll showing us with a slight lead, but we take nothing for granted.  We will fight hard over the next six-weeks to spread our message that Hawaii needs an independent voice who can work with Democrats and the Republican-majority in Congress from the first day in office to tackle our community's high cost of living and create jobs."

Djou opponent did not appear at today's candidate forum, which also featured the candidates for the Honolulu City Council District IV race.

Djou Shares Vision to Reform Health Care

Former Congressman Charles K. Djou attended a candidate forum hosted by the Philippine Medical Association of Hawaii last night at the Ala Moana Hotel.

"Healthcare in America needs to get reformed and Obamacare isn't working.  We need to reform healthcare the right way," stated Djou at the forum.  "I support medical malpractice tort reform, allowing for the interstate sale of health insurance and expansion of health savings accounts.  This is the right way to reduce the high cost of healthcare in America, without compromising the quality of care."

Tonight was the seventh public debate or forum Djou attended since the Primary Election.  Djou's opponent did not appear at last night's forum.
