As of now, Election still on
OPEN FOR BUSINESS
News Release from Hawaii GOP August 7, 2014
With no announced closures or delays due to the impending hurricanes, we wanted to let you know that we are still working hard to turn Republicans out on Primary Election Day this Saturday.
Andrew, with the Office of Elections not yet announcing any delays or closures, we need to be prepared to carry out a comprehensive get-out-the-vote effort on Saturday. This means we need YOUR help in the HQ coordinating with our poll watchers around the state.
Are you available at anytime on Saturday to support our Republican candidates by helping get-out-the-vote? If so, please join us at our HQ and complete the following form: Primary Election Day Volunteer Form
Food and drink will be provided throughout the day.
Please note that you and your family's safety is of the utmost importance. We will monitor the situation closely over the next 48 hours, and update you immediately if we cancel or change plans. However, if you are available, please go ahead and sign up so we can continue business as usual if weather dissipates.
After polls close, we encourage you to join a candidate of your choice at one of the many Primary Election Night festivities around the state.
We are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers over the next few days, and hope that seeing you on Saturday means the all clear.
Be safe out there,
-Your HRP Ohana
