Water Projects - Conference Report - Vote Passed (412-4, 15 Not Voting)

The House adopted the conference report on a bill authorizing U.S. Army Corps of Engineers water-resources activities including port dredging, inland locks and dams, and flood control projects - costing an estimated $12 billion. It would also require the deauthorization of at least $18 billion in previously authorized projects.

NSA Metadata Collection - Passage - Vote Passed (303-121, 7 Not Voting)

The House passed a bill that would prohibit the government's bulk collection and storage of business records, including telephone metadata, and instead require the government, except in cases of emergency, to receive pre-approval from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court to conduct a search of call detail records for individual target phone numbers.

Fiscal 2015 Defense Authorization - Passage - Vote Passed (325-98, 8 Not Voting)

The House passed a bill to authorize $592.9 billion for defense programs in fiscal year 2015, including $79.4 billion for overseas contingency operations. The bill would authorize a 1.8 percent pay increase for military personnel and prohibit a new round of Base Realignment and Closure.
