Democrats argue who can "take on Djou"

Message to Supporters from Djou Campaign

Aloha,          May 25, 2014

Yesterday, Hawaii Democrats held their state convention and speaker after speaker made solemn promises to continue the status quo of one-party rule and big government.  More interestingly, Democrats recognize that Charles is the one candidate who can up-end politics as usual in Hawaii.  A Democrat congressional candidate even went so far as to base his speech on how he can “take on Djou.”

This shows how scared the political machine is of our campaign, and how petty and personal this race will be. We need your help now to fight back.  Please consider sending a generous contribution today, of $50, $75 or $100 to help us make the lives of the people in Hawaii and our nation better.

We have real problems facing our state and nation.  In Hawaii, despite almost 60 years of one-party rule in our state, we see our quality of life declining.  Our economy is stagnant, our young people have to move to the mainland to find jobs, young families cannot afford to buy a home of their own, and our kupuna are worried about being able to live on fixed incomes.

We need to change the direction of our state and country.  We need to stop the hyper-partisan squabbling represented by our opponents.  We need to focus on the real problems facing our state and nation.  We can do that, but we need to win this race and we cannot do it alone.

We know you've already been generous to the campaign in the past, and we are truly and humbly grateful for that support. But we've come too far to let the establishment turn the tide of the election to their favor with childish bickering and name calling.

We are locked in a close race for our state and country’s future.  Nothing will change, however, without your help.  Please send your contribution of $100, $75 or any amount you can afford.  We can only do this if we pull together.

Mahalo for all of your support.

Aloha,

Team Djou
