Maui County Republican Convention to Highlight Aiona
News Release from Hawaii Republican Party April 29, 2014
HONOLULU- The Maui County Republican Committee will host its County Convention this Saturday, May 3rd at 9am in Kahului at the University of Hawaii, Maui Campus.
The convention will be chaired by Maui County Chairman and former State Representative George Fontaine and will focus on the 2014 Republican candidates.
Confirmed speakers include former Congresswoman and current Hawaii Republican Party Pat Saiki, former Lieutenant Governor and candidate for Governor Duke Aiona, and Elwin Ahu, candidate for Lieutenant Governor. Several other Maui Republican candidates are expected to attend including Marissa Capelouto (CD-2), Joe Kamaka (SD-5), and Cranston Kapoi (HD-8).
About 200 supporters are expected to attend.
