Gun Bill Hearing Tuesday, February 25, 2014, 9:25 am, Rm 211, State Capitol

The Senate Ways and Means Committee (WAM) will hear SB2938, SD1, requiring the Attorney General to establish online registration of firearms for the State.  The bill dies if WAM does not pass it.  To learn more, go to the hearing notice at: SB2938

From there you can get the history of the bill, a copy of the current language, previous testimony, and access the automated system to submit testimony.

Please submit your testimony before 9:45 Monday, Feb 24.  Attend the hearing and deliver your testimony in person, if possible.

HB2629 HD1 passed the House Water and Land and Agriculture Committees 2/13 and moves on.  It was amended to add language suggested by HRA to include shooting ranges and hunting as allowed activities on Important Agricultural Lands.
