Community meetings this week to discuss the latest rail station designs for the Kapolei and Pearl City/Aiea areas

The Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART) will hold two community meetings this week to discuss the latest rail station designs for the Kapolei and Pearl City/Aiea areas.
The meeting to discuss the East Kapolei and UH-West Oahu rail stations is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 28, at the Kapolei Middle School cafeteria, 91-5335 Kapolei Parkway.
The meeting for the rail stations along Kamehameha Highway, including the Pearl Highlands, Pearlridge and Aloha Stadium stations, will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 29, at the Highlands Intermediate School cafeteria, 1460 Ho'olaulea Street.
HART Executive Director and CEO Dan Grabauskas, Honolulu Mayor Kirk Caldwell and HART board chairman Ivan Lui-Kwan are scheduled to attend. Both meetings will include updated rail station designs and information on related cultural and art programs.
Community meetings for the regional station groups in the urban Honolulu area will be held this spring.
