With Hong Kong as the first stop, the question of economic free markets emerges with an analysis of whether China can duplicate Hong Kong’s free market success as a model for all of China. Dr. Akina points out that it is not only the level of investment or flow of cash that matters, but the extent to which China assures the rule of law and individual liberty, both of which are essential to the free market.
