A new Civil Beat poll shows our race is virtually tied, 38-36, with a little more than eight months to go before the start of early voting.
Brian Schatz claims this race is already over. He sent a divisive memo around the country arguing that his support from DC power brokers and his plan to appeal to a single ideological group of Hawaii voters make him an overwhelming favorite.
But Civil Beat's poll suggests the voters of Hawaii do not agree with Brian's assessment and are looking forward to their first chance to vote for their next U.S. Senator....
This poll also tells us that people recognize and value Colleen's proven record as a legislator and leader. Her fresh approach to building a better future for Hawaii is resonating with voters.
We need your help so Colleen can continue to deliver federal resources for our state while standing up for women's access to healthcare and reproductive rights, protecting Social Security and Medicare, and improving education.
While Brian's campaign is counting on his DC machine to decide this race, we know that winning in Hawaii means listening to the people, working hard, being humble and respecting the values of our island community. ...
Mahalo for your support.
Aloha,
Peter Boylan
