SHARON HAR (D) REFUSES TO DEBATE DIAMOND GARCIA (R) PUBLICLY

Kapolei, HI - The GARCIA campaign was contacted on multiple occasions by community advocacy groups asking for Garcia’s availability to debate with Sharon Har. Sharon notified debate organizers that she was unable to attend on the proposed day and time.

The GARCIA campaign informed the debate coordinators that Diamond Garcia is willing to clear his schedule to accommodate Har, and still Har has not responded.

“After all her legal troubles, and public embarrassment, the people of West O’ahu deserve to hear from her as to why she should be re-elected to her position. It’s a shame that she’s avoiding all public debates and forums,” said Garcia.

“If it would make Ms. Har more at ease, I’m willing to meet her in the tavern, or bar of her choice to conduct the debate,” Garcia concluded.
