Relating to Civil Asset Forfeiture -- The Grassroot Institute weighed in on bill HB1559, which would prohibit the taking of property through civil asset forfeiture without a conviction.

Increasing the General Excise Tax 1% for Education -- Should the GET be raised from 4% to 5%? Grassroot offered comments about SB2599 at the legislature.

Increasing the General Excise Tax 0.5% for Long-Term Care -- The Grassroot Institute of Hawaii offered its comments on SB2478, which would add another increase to the GET.
